End of an era - Farewelling our long-standing Board Chair, Pamela Tregonning

For Diabetes Projects Trust, Pam has been the steady hand at the helm since the 1990's.  She has guided the organisation through ups, downs, changes of direction, challenges and of course plenty of successes.   As volunteer Chairperson, Pam has turned up at least four times a year for Board meetings.  Pam has over that time sent and received countless letters and emails, made and received phonecalls, been present for many other meetings and signed copious documents over the years.  All of which has been done with her usual grace and style.

As of late 2016, Pam signalled she was ready to move on to new challenges and her resignation was accepted with great reluctance.   After staying to support the transition she has now handed the role over to another long term Board member, Dr John Baker, to act as interim Chair.

On behalf of the team at Diabetes Projects Trust, Pam, you've done an amazing job and while you've left the organisation in the safe hands of our remaining Trustees, you will be missed.    We thank you for the incredible support you've provided, and your enthusiasm and dedication as you've worked on behalf of the organisation to support people with or at risk of diabetes over the years. We wish you all the best.
