RNZ article by Stephen Forbes, Local Democracy Reporter.   Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa Board Chair, Dr John Baker advocating for new medications beneficial to people with type 2 diabetes, including the potential to "reduce a patient's progression to end stage kidney disease by 15 years".
