Publication - DCSS - Predictive risk model for all-cause mortality in type 2 diabetes

Publication in Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice from Tom Robinson, Raina Elley, Tim Kenealy and Paul Drury made use of the DPT run DCSS data collected from Primary Care.  Primary care data was looked at from a large national multi-ethnic cohort of patients with type 2 diabetes in New Zealand and linked mortality records was used in a prospective cohort design to develop a predictive risk model for 5-year risk of mortality. It was then validated using information from a separate cohort of patients with type 2 diabetes.
