Diabetes Projects Trust has been part of many interagency efforts over the years to take advantage of greater collective energy and reach to effect change. Working with the HAT (Healthy Auckland Together) group has seen participation in a number of initiatives, this is an example where our Workplace Programme can align with others in the development and implementation of useful resource to be used in the community. This document is a sample food/healthy eating policy for workplaces, organisations and businesses to use/adapt/work towards creating a better environment that promotes worker health. The policy aligns with the National Healthy Food and Drink Policy which was put together by MOH/DHB's and Public Health units to "put their own house in order".
